IN-CALF HEIFERS

INTEREST IN MORRINSVILLE BACONERS, PORKERS SELL WELL The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering 'Company Limited report •that at their weekly stock sale held at 'Morrinsville on Friday a small yarding of fat sheep and lambs sold under good competition at late rates. A medium entry of store lambs also met with improved competition and realised satisfactory prices.

Beef was yarded in good numbers and with competition very free a satisfactory sale resulted. A heavy yarding of boners again came forward and sold at values in advance of schedule rates. Interest was shown in the offerings of in-calf heiE,ers which in spite of the dry weather, all changed hands at satisfactory prices. \

There was another good yarding of all classes, the demand for baconers and porkers being equal to those ruling at outside sales. Stores and weaners remained firm at recent rates.
