INJURIES PROVE FATAL BOY DIES IN HOSPITAL The death occurred at the Thames Hospital early Thursday afternoon, of a boy, Russell Vernon, Branks, aged 13 years and three months, eldest child of Mr and Mrs V. J. Branks, of 19 Walter street, Thames. The boy was admitted to the hospital some weeks ago, suffering from the effects of being struck on the lower part of the leg by a cricket ball some time previously. Two operations were performed, and he failed to rally from the second.
