TWENTY YEARS AGO
FOOTBALL AT KEREPEEHI ANNUAL MEETING OF CLUB OFFICERS FOR YEAR ELECTED (From the Hauraki Plains Gazette of March 26, 1923) The annual meeting of the Kerepeehi Football Club was held on Monday evening, there being about 25 members present. Mr Thompson occupied the chair. The balance sheet which showed a credit balance of- £ll 6s, was adopted. The following officers were appointed: Patron, Mr J. -Kidd; president, Mr J. Nicholson; secretary, Mr R. F. Carr; treasurer, Mr G. A. Avery; committee, Messrs H. Ward, G. Blythe, C. Bridge, W. Thompson and J. Alley; social committee, Messrs H. Ward, J. M. Thompson, W. Thompson, C. Nicholson, A. Me- 1 Millan, G. Masters and G. Mclntosh. The appointments of vice-presi-dents, selector and delegates were left to the committee. It was decided that the committee should look over the football ground, and, if necessary, arrange a working bee. The subscription to the club was fixed at 3s for members and 7s fid for vice-presidents. The first practice match will be held on March 24.
