THE TALKIES.

BROADWAY MELODY. AN OUTSTANDING SUCCESS. The popular talkie, “The Broadway Melody,” opened at the Aurora Theatre last evening to a full house, patrons being present from Thames, Waihi, Waikino, Karangahake, Ngatea, and Waitakaruru. The picture was a great triumph, superbly acted, the large audience being delighted with the presentation. The film will be shown again tonight, to-morrow night, and Friday evening, and also there will be a matinee to-morrow afternoon.
