ODDFELLOWSHIP.
SOCIAL FUNCTION. DANCE AND EUCHRE. On Monday evening last the local Oddfellows held a dance and euchre in the Gaiety Theatre. The function was largely attended by visitors from all parts of the district. The dance music was supplied by the Dixie Boys’ band. The duties of M’s.C. were ably carried out by Mr F. Knight and Mr Davies, and the euchre was controlled by Mr F. McQuillan. The euchre prizes were won by : Ladies, Mrs Roberts 1, Mrs McQuillian 2 ; men, Mr J. Pascoe 1, and Mr Murray 2. The ladies committee present were : Miss Mary Bertelsen (N.G.), who wore pine fores.t georgette, with guipure lace ; Miss Hilda North (secretary), floral georgette, unevenly flared skirt; Miss B. Purdie, flame taffeta; Miss F. North, spotted delphinium, blue crepe-de-chine flared skirt ; Miss Jean Parkinson, sea foam crepe-de-chine, with lace ; Miss Vi Heappey, gold crepe flueri ; and Miss C. Pitkethly, gold crepe de chine and lace. Others present were : Mesdames F. Davies, lemon crepe de chine ; F. Taylor, navy blue georgette ; W. McCleary, navy blue and fawn ; L.
