TENNIS.
CLUB COMPETITIONS. COMMENCEMENT ON SATURDAY The club competition under’ the auspices of the Thames Valley Lawn Tennis Association will commence on Saturday afternoon next, when Hikutaia A will meet the Paeroa A team at Hikutaia, while the Thames and Te Aroha A teams will meet at Thames. In the B section Paeroa. travels to Waihi and Thames to Te Aroha, Hikutaia having a bye. The Hikutaia team will be chosen from the tollowing : Misses G. Gibb, M. Elliot, R. Alley, V. Brown ; Messrs E. Turner, C. Elliot, R. Rare, W. Alley, H. McGarvey, J. Odlin, and R. Tohu.
