ORDINARY LAND-TAX PAYABLE. BY Order in Council, made and issued by His Excellency the Governor-General in Council on the 4th day of November, 1929, under the authority of the above Act, it was determined that the duty by way of ordinary land-tax leviable under the : said Act should be paid in one ( sum on Thursday, the 21st day of November, 1929, at the office of the Commissioner of Taxes, Government Buildings., Wellington ; and, in accordance with such Order in Council, I hereby give notice that the said duty will be payable accordingly. Additional tax will accrue if the tax is not paid on or before 12th December, 1929. The liability to pay is not suspended by any objection. The tax should be paid on or before the prescribed date, otherwise the addtional percentage accrues : any overpayment will be adjusted by refund. The demands will be posted from the office of the Commissioner of Taxes on or about Bth November, 1929. WAIKATO AGRICULTURAL SHOW AT CLAUDELANDS 13TH AND UTH NOVEMBER SPECIAL EXCURSION TICKETS will be issued from Putaruru, Paeroa, Cambridge, and intermediate stations to Hamilton or Claudelands on 12th and 13th November, and by trains due to arrive Claudelands not later than 1.15 p.m. on 14th November, available for return until 15th November, 1929. On 12th, 13th, and 14th November the express trains to and from Rotorua and Taneatua will stop at Claudelands. On 14th November usual 3.40 p.m. FranktonPaeroa train leaves Frankton 4.45 p.m., Claudelands 5.25 p.m..
