NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council held on the 3rd October, 1929, the following Resolution was passed and will be submitted’for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held on the 7th November, 1929, in the County Chambers, Belmont Road, Paeroa :— RESOLUTION. “In PURSUANCE and Exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Section 6 of the “Water Supply Act, 1908;” the Ohinemuri County Council hereby declares by way of Special Order as follows : (1) That the part of the County of Ohinemuri described in the Schedule attached hereto is hereby declared to be a district for the purpose of the construction of Water Races therein. (2) Such District shall be constituted from and after the Ist November, 1929. (3) Such District shall be called or known as the Kaimanawa Water Supply District.” THE SCHEDULE HEREINBEFORE REFERRED TO. Special Rating Area : Commencing at a point where the Thames-Paeroa Railway crosses the Hikutaia Stream, thence along the left bank of the Hikutaia Stream in a general westerly direction to the junction of the said stream with the Waihou River, thence along the right bank of the said Waihou River in a general southerly and easterly direction to a point where the southern boundary of Lots 1,2, and 3 of Komata North No. IA3B Block No. IA4 and No. IB shown on Land Transfer Plan No. 8030 contacts with the right bank of the Waihou River, thence in an easterly direction along the southern boundaries of the aforesaid Blocks to the point where it intersects with the Thames-Paeroa Railway line, thence in a northerly direction along the western side of the said railway line to the point of commencement.” Any owner or occupier (liable to be rated) of land included within the above area may object in writing to his land being included therein, stating the grounds upon which such objection is based. Objections must reach the County Office, Belmont Road, Paeroa, within TEN days from this date. Dated at Paeroa this 11th day of October, 1929. R. W. EVANS, County Clerk. ““OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the above Council held in the Council Chambers, Paeroa, on the 3rd October, 1929, a Resolution was passed by way of Special Order authorising the raising of a Loan of £2300 at 5| per cent, for a period of 26 years over the Kaimanawa Special Rating Area, and the same will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the said Council to be held in the Council Chambers, Paeroa, at 1 p.m. on the 7th November, 1929. The purpose of the Loan is to provide and reticulate the Kaimanawa Water Supply Special Rating Area with a Farming and Domestic water supply. A copy of the Resolution is deposited at the County Offices, Paeroa, and will be open to the inspection of the public during ordinary office hours until the 31st inst. R. W. EVANS, County Clerk.
