A LARGE YARDING. There was a large yarding of cattle and a big attendance of buyers at the Paeroa stock sale on Monday. Keen competition prevailed, and practically every entry changed hands. Best dairy cows and heifers made from £l2 to £l6, other £9 10s to £ll 10s, backward sorts £7 to £9 ss, aged and inferior £5 to £6 15s ; beef cows £7 10s to £ll 2s 6d ; forward cows £5 10s to £7 5s ; store cows £3 10s to £6 ; yearling heifers £3 10s to £6 ; two-year-old steers to £7 13s ; yearling steers to £5 13s ; bulls £5 5s to £l2 12s.
