PIG MARKETING ASSN.

CONTRACT FOR 1000 PORKERS. The New Zealand Co-operative Pig Marketing Association has been successful in signing a contract with a London firm for 1000 porkers between the weights of 601 b and 1101 b. This will enable the association to pay an advance payment of 6d per lb on these weights. On the top of this price a good bonus is assured to suppliers. Farmers are urged to assist the association to fulfil this forward order, which will also enable the association to keep the present ruling prices at the scales.*
