JERSEY BREEDERS.
THAMES VALLEY CLUB. At a meeting of the Thames Valley Jersey Breeders’ Club this morning Mr K. Dean, president, presided over Messrs G. Buchanan, M. Crimmins, E. Jamieson, W. F. Johnstone, W. Muir, and C. Townshend, hon. secretary. It was decided that in future it should be ascertained what funds the club had available for the purpose before it was committed to any definite amount as a donation to the Hauraki A. and P. Association. It was agreed to hold a field day and demonstration to create an added interest prior to the Hauraki A. and P. show, the arranging of a date early in November being left to the president and secretary. Mr G. Buchanan’s property was selected as the most convenient place. The secretary was instructed to wire for a number of transfer forms in order that they would arrive for the bull sale on Thursday. The secretary was authorised to draw petty cash to the extent of £l.
