BOWLING.

PRACTICE ON LOCAL GREEN. NOTES OF INTEREST. There was a good roll-up at the local bowling green on Saturday, when several interesting and enjoyable games were played. The greens were running well and playing fairly even. A party of local bowlers travelled to Te Aroha on Saturday to attend the opening of the club there. Next Saturday the official openings of the Waihi and Thames clubs will take place. On Saturday next at the conclusion of play at the local green, a meeting of the Goldfields Association delegates will be held in the pavilion.
