Discussing an instance of flooding at a meeting of the Hauraki Plains West. Drainage Board on Saturday a member said that he would not mind if the whole of his farm was flooded six inches deep at the present time. So dry is the Hauraki Plains at the present time that the observation was generally affirmed by members of a deputation present.
