ENTERTAINMENTS.

DANCE AND EUCHRE. SUCCESS ASSURED. The Paeroa Rugby Union is holding its annual dance and euchre tournament in the Gaiety Theatre on Friday night. Nothing has been spared to make it an outstanding success. The floor is in excellent order, a wellknown and popular orchestra has been engaged, and all arrangements have been concluded well beforehand, so that no last-minute rushing will spoil the enjoyment. Novelty dances will be staged, and numerous splendid prizes await those who are winners in the euchre tournament. A suitcase will reward the winner’ of the men’s section and a handsome flowered bowl the winner of the ladies’ section. During the evening trophies will also be presented. To look after the interests of outside friends and dance enthusiasts, subsidised buses will run from Thames and Waihi.
