The usual high standard of general interest for which the illustrations of the “N.Z. Sporting and Dramatic Review” have become famous is well maintained in the current issue, which is now on sale. Beautiful colour plates reproduced on fine art paper cover a wealth of subjects. The coloured frontispiece is devoted to a handsome picture of Miss Verner Wishart as “Delores” in the Auckland Amateur Operatic Society’s production of “Floradora.” Prominence is given to photographs of the various representative teams which took part in the International Bowling matches at Llandrindod,, Wales. Of strong local interest are the series devoted to the Maungakiekie ladies’ golf championships at Titirangi, the Gun Club’s shoot at Panmure, Auckland v. Whangarei Rugby match, inter-island League match at Carlaw Park, etc.
