HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports : — At the weekly stock sale in the Frankton yards on Tuesday we had a good yarding of fat cattle. Store cattle were penned in average numbers, with a medium yarding of fat and store sheep. The yarding consisted of some good quality beef, which was slightly easier. Fat sheep and store cattle sol-i at late rates. There was a heavy yarding of all classes of pigs, which maintained late rates. We quote : — Fat steers £l2 13s to £l2 17s; prime fat heifers £l3 15s to £l4 10s ; prime fat cows £l2 15s to £l4 10s ; fat cows and heifers £lO 13s to £l2 5s ; medium fat cows £8 10s to £9 15s, light £7 to £7 17s 6d, forward £5 15s to £6 10s ; store cows £3 2s 6d to £5 5s ; Jerseycross heifer calves £4 5s to £4 16s. Sheep : Fat wethers 3956 d to £2 ; fat hoggets £1 6s 2d to £1 9s 3d ; fat ewes 29s to 33s lOd. Pigs : Heavy baconers £4 8s to £4 14s, medium £3 15s to £4 3s, light £3 5s to £3 10s ; heavy porkers £2 8s to £3 6s, medium £2 12s to £2 15s, light £2/ 5s to £3 9s ; good stores £2 to £2 5s ; slips 26s to 30s ; weaners , 15s to 245.
