FOOTBALL.
TO-MORROW’S ARRANGEMENTS Three knock out football games are scheduled to take place to-morrow on the Paeroa Domain. In the Drysdale Cup competition, foi’ seniors, Pirates, who have effectively disposed of Veterans, meet West. An even, hardfought game is likely to result. The other Drysdale, Cup match will be between Suburbs and East, and it remains to be seen how the unbeaten club competition team fares in knockout football. East and Suburbs, the winners and runners-up, respectively, in the junior club competition, meet in the Williams Cup contest. On the season’s play the odds might perhaps favour East, but, as is quite usual, a team that secures club championship honours does not always fare so well when it comes to knock-out matches. Taken on the whole, three reusing games, well worth watching, will be the ones set down for to-morrow. The following teams have been selected •— West.—Fraser, Verran, Swann. Vercoe, Nicld, Wells, Poland, Knight, McKee, Henderson, Brown, Taylor, Carrick, Vause, Currie. East.—Treanor, McNeil, Eskrigge, McQuartcrs, Cadman, E. Moore, H. Moore, W. Nealie, G. Neil, N.
