At the meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council on Thursday the chairman, Cr. C. Mason, maintained that there were too many sign posts on the roads. He put the matter in a nutshell when he said that a motorist could not possibly regard all, therefore he disregarded all. The Kerepeehi Football Club held its annual excursion to Coromandel on Saturday last, but most of the players to make the journey were juniors. In the match against what was practically a representative team the Kerepeehi fifteen beaten by 8 points to seven, a mark under the goal being the deciding point. The Kerepeehi visitors were hospitably entertained.
