The prize list includes the two Imperial Challenge Shields (senior and junior), and money prizes to all units (platoons, troops, etc.,) which have attained a certain standard, namely, 80 per cent, of the total points in the case of those receiving Government assistance and 70 per cent, for those not so assisted. These are all provided by the founder. Badges conveying the titles of “Empire Marksmen” and “Empire First-class Shot (Boys’ Division)” are also awarded with the approval of the War Office to all those whose scores entitle them to those distinctions.. In addition, there are the highly-prized special trophies presented by Countess Roberts for Great Britain, by the Viceroy of India, and by the Govern-ors-General of the Dominions for the most efficient organisations in those countries.
