Local Body Notices. HAURAKI UNITED DRAINAGE BOARD. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO LEVY RATES. PURSUANT to Sections 31, 32, and 33 of “ The Land Drainage Act, 1908.’ and amendments thereto, Sections 51 and 54 of “ The Rating Act, 1925,” “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Hauraki United Drainage Board intends at its ordinary meeting to be held on Friday, the 16th day of August, 1929. in the Turua Buildings, Turua, at 10.30 a.m.. to make and levy the following Rates upon the unimproved value and upon a graduated scale according to the classification of lands within the several subdivisions of the Hauraki United Drainage District as follows :— General Rates. Within the Northern Subdivision upon all lands classified “A” lid in the £, upon all lands classified “B” l:}d in the £. Within the Central North Subdivision upon all lands classified “A” l-/d in the £, upon all lands classified “B” l|d in the £. Within the Central South Subdivision upon all lands classified “A” lsd in the £, upon all lands classified “B” three-farth-ings in the £. Within the Southern Subdivision upon all lands classified “A” 1 Id in the £, upon all lands classified “B” three-farthings in the £. Special Rates. As set out hereunder upon the unimproved value of all Rateable property within, the respective Special Rating areas :— Hauraki Area : £10,50Q loans, 17-16ths of Id in the £ on Class “A”, 11-16ths of Id in the £ on Class “B,” and 5-16ths of Id in the £ on Class “C,” in accordance with the 1923 Classification List of the Hauraki Drainage Board. Horahia (1926) Loan : 6-Bths of Id in the £ on Class “A,” §ths of Id in the £ on Class “B.” Hauraki Central Loan, £1000: 13-32nds of Id in the £ on Class “A,” 9-32nds of Id in the £ on Class “B, - ’ 4-32nds of Id in the £ on Class “C.” All the above Rates shall be for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1929, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1930, and be payable in one sum on the sth day of September, 1929, to the Treasurer at the Board’s Office, Turua Buildings, Turua. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO LEVY RATES. NOTICE is hereby given in terms of Section 51 of “The Rating Act, 1925,” that it is the intention of the Netherton Drainage Board at*its meeting to be held in the Netherton Hall, Netherton, on Friday, the 23rd day of August 1929, at 1 p.m., to make and levy under Section 31 of “The Land Drainage Act, 1908,” and Sections 8 and 4 of “The Land Drainage Amendment Act, 1913,”a General Rate upon the unimproved value and upon a graduated scale according to classification of lands within the several subdivisions of the Netherton Drainage District as follows :— Within the Northern Subdivision, upon all lands classified “A” 14d in the £, upon all land classified “B” Id in the £, and upon all lands classified “C” |d in the £. Within the “H” Drain Subdivision, upon all lands classified “A” 3d in the £, upon all lands classified “B” 2d in the £,and upon all lands classified “C“ Id in the £. Within the Awaiti Subdivision, upon all lands classified “A” 3d in the £, upon all lands classified “B” 2d in the £, and upon all lands classified as “C” Id in the £. All the above-mentioned rates shall be for a period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1929, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1930, and be payable in one sum to the Clerk to the Board, Turua, on the 12th day of September, 1929.
