Friday, July 26.—Dance, Euchre, and Social Evening, Netherton Hall. Tuesday, July 30. —Pictures and Dance, Hikutaia Hall. Wednesday, July 31.— Concert, Aurora Theatre, Paeroa. BUSINESS QUEEN. Monday, July 29.—Dance ■ and Euchre, Gaiety Theatre, Paeroa. Saturday, August 3.—Gala Day in Main Street. SPORTS QUEEN. Friday, August 2.— Children’s Fancy Dress Ball, Paeroa. FARMERS’ QUEEN. DANCE AT HIKUTAIA. A successful dance and euchre tournament was held in the Hikutaia Hall on Wednesday evening, the proceeds going to Miss Valda Brown’s fund. The music, which was provided by Mrs Scudamore’s orchestra from Netherton, was as inspiring as usual, and although ti.e many counter-at-tractions prevented a good many from attending, the floor was comfortably filled by a merry throng.
