ON behalf of the Sports Committee I Sincerely thank the people of Paeroa and surrounding districts for the generous help given us on Saturday. Gifts to our street stall exceeded all expectations, and the wholehearted assistance given resulted in our day being the wonderful success it was. Thanks are especially due to Mr W. Moore and his helpers in organising the procession and push ball match, to the Paeroa Rugby Union for handing the Sports Day over to us, and to Mr and Mrs Hale and Miss Marshall for their kindness to our workers in providing morning and afternoon tea and giving the use of their premises.
