SUBSCRIPTION LISTS for contributions towards relief of the victims of the recent earthquakes on the West Coast have been deposited by the Hauraki Plains County Council at all Principal Shops in the County. The Council itself has opened with a subscription of £5O on the central, list, which is deposited at the County Chambers at Ngatea. Individual settlers on the Plains are invited to contribute towards the lists in their own locality, while the Council respectfully requests that the proceeds from any entertainments organised for the purpose be forwarded to the undersigned for inclusion in the fund.
