BALL AT KEREPEEHI.
TO BE HELD "ON WEDNESDAY. EARTHQUAKE FUND BENEFIT. The Kerepeehi Rugby Football Club is holding a ball on Wednesday, night at the Kerepeehi Hall, $ll the profits of which are to be handed to the earthquake fund for the relief of sufferers in the South Island.
Already preparations are well in hand, and arrangements are just about complete fbr the staging of a dance that will live long in the memories of those who attend. A large number of people are expected, and with that end in view the promoters have affairs ready well beforehand. The floor has been gone over thoroughly, and is in excellent order awaiting the dancers’ feet. A wellknown orchestra will render danceevoking music from the platform, and with the thoroughness of the organisers a sit-down supper will be provided.
: Free buses will run from Paeroa, Thames, Turua, and Waitakaruru.
