RIFLE SHOOTING.
PAEROA’S MINIATURE CLUB. IMPROVED FORM MAINTAINED
Wednesday evening’s shoot of the Paeroa Defence Miniature Rifle Club was again well attended, and it was very pleasing to note the improved form shown throughout the evening by the competitors, especially the new ones.
Captain Simmonds put on the best score, with 99, and E. Turton, senr., who is a new member, was second with 97.
Next Wednesday eveing the first trophy shoot has been arranged for a trophy generously donated by Captain Simmonds, but the scores of financial members only will count for the trophy. However, other members may shoot during the evening. The scoring on Wedesday evening was as follows :—
