Public Notices. COUNTY OF HAURAKI PLAINS NOTICE OF INTENTION TO LEVY RATES. PURSUANT to Section 54 of “The Rating Act, 1925,” NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it is the intention of the Hauraki Plains County Council at its ordinary meeting to be held on July 11th, 1929, at the hour of 11 a.m. in the County Chambers at Ngatea, to make the following rates for the period commencig on the Ist day of April, 1929, and ending on the Ist day of March, 1930, such rates to be payable in one sum on the 16th day of July, 1929, at the Council Chambers at Ngatea. The Valuation Rolls of the County are open for inspection at the Council Chambers during office hours :— 1. Under the provisions of Section 120 of “the Counties Act, 1920,” a General Rate upon the unimproved value of all properties rateable within the several Ridings as set out hereunder : Turua. Under the provisions of Section 52 of “The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1926,” a Hospital Rate of Id in the £ on all rateable property (unimproved) within the County. 3.
