PAEROA STOCK SALE.
ANOTHER FULL YARDING. GOOD PRICES REALISED. At the Paeroa stock sale on Monday there was a very large yarding, which was fully attended, buyers being present from all districts. The yarding of dairy stock was exceptionally h|avy, which made for good competition. Market values were fully maintained throughout the sale, the :whole of the yarding changing hands.' f Best dairy cows arid heders made from £l3 to £l7, others £ll to £l2 Xss; backward and good- quality £9 to £lO 15s, aged cows £7 .to- 15s, beef cows £7 10s to £9 ss. N<fc extraheavy cows were penned, Godd killable cows made from £5 10sto£6 15s, bofter cows £4 to £5 7s 6d, according to age and condition ; aged am) inferior cows £2 to £3 10s ; in-calf heifers £4 to £6 ; yearling steers £4 15s to £5 10s ; heifers £2 to £3 15s, Jerseys being riiostly sought- after. Yearling bulls made from £4 "to £6, aged bulls from £4 10s to £8 ss, according to weight. Store lambs made from 15s 6d to 19s 3d. Sows in pig made io £2 17s 6d, weaners 13s. |
