HOCKEY.
PAEROA LADIES’ CLUB. LAST SATURDAY'S PLAY. The Paeroa ladies’ hockey teams played at Hikutaia on Saturday, The Rovers meeting and defeating the Hikutaia Hinemoa team by 4 goals to 1. For the Rovers Misses D. Hunter (3) and P. Pivott netted the goals, while Miss A. Morrison scored the goal for Hinemoa. The Wanderers player the Hikutaia Pioneers team. This game was wellcontested, and neither side managed to score.
