THE COST OF NEGLECT.

Think of the cost of neglecting your kidneys; it means that you are allowing kidney poisons to accumulate in the system, and these poisons cause violent pains in the back, urinary disorders, gravel, stone, rheumatism, gout, lassitude, sleeplessness, inclination to worry, excessive thirst, neuralgia. The genuine Doan’s Backache Kidney Pills restore to strained, overworked kidneys their full power of filtering the dangerous kidney poisons from the blood and discharging them from the system. Read this case : — Mr Thos. Rowley, Mackay Street, Thames, says : “Some time ago I took a course of Doan’s Backache Kidney Pills, and they completely cured me of backache, an ailment I had been suffering from for some time. A friend advised me to try this remedy, and I am very thankful I acted on his advice. It’s grand to be free from the nagging ache that was always in my back, and I shall never lose an opportunity of recommending Doan’s Backache Kidney Pills to anyone I know suffering from backache. At times the pain was very severe, and I used to feel quite knocked, up with it. It was torture for me to stoop ; in fact, all my movements were more or less restricted. On one occasion I was laid up for several days, being almost crippled with the pain. However, I am quite all right now,' and feel a new man.” Six years later Mr Rowley says : “I am still well, and have had no return of backache since Doan’s Backache Kidney Pills cured me some years ago.” . Doa.n’s Backache Kidney Pills are sold by all chemists and storekeepers. Foster-McClqllan Co., Proprietors, 15 Hamilton Street, Sydney. But, be sure you get DOAN’S.

The well-chosen illustrations presented in this week’s issue of the “N.Z. Sporting and Dramatic Review” will please all those who delight in a well-produced paper. Pride of place is given to a series of illustrations secured during the meet of the Pakuranga Hunt at Papatoetqe and the Christchurch Hunt at Ashburton. Sportsmen will be interested in fullpage photographs of jumping incidents at the Wanganui Jockey Club’s meeting and a series of the starts and finishes. The illustrations contained in the double centre pages are especially snappy, covering a wide range of subjects of universal appeal. An impressive page of merry snow scenes in California is faithfully reproduced, and another item from America includes Los Angeles Athletic Club Gym Exhibition. The photographs in the stage and screen sections make a bright showing, and the frontispiece is an excellent representation of Her Excellency Lady Alice Fergusson. Far Children’s Flacking Cough.
