This season: 1068 cows, 3811bs milk, 4.5 test, 17.341bs fat. Highest herd of 42 cows averaged 26.301bs fat; highest cow 491bs fat, lowest cow 21bs fat, Patetonga.—Last season : 970 c'owS, 4021bs milk, 4.7 test, 19.201bs fat. This season : 693 cows, 3381bs milk, 5.3 tejst, 18,051bs fat. Highest hard of 38 cows averaged 22.971bs fat, highest cow 461bs fat, lowest cow 41bg fat. Shelly Beach.—Last season: 370 cows, 4971bs milk, 4,6 test, 23.101bs fat. ’ This season: 234 cows, 3241bs milk, 5.3 test, 17.321bs fat. Highest herd of 41 cows averaged 21.921bs fat.; highest cow 361bs fat, lowest eoyv 61bs fat. Turua.—Last sjejason : 566 cows, 456 lbs milk, 4,7 test, 21.541bs fat. Waihi, —Last season :824 cpiws 346 lbs milk, 5.0 test, 17.541bs fat. This season : 892 cows, 3281bs milk, 5.0 test., 16.65 lbs fat, Highest herd of 29 co.ws averaged 25.65 l.bs fat; highest cow 541bs fat, lowest cow 21bs fat. Waitakaruru. —Last season:: 443 cows, 4591bs milk, 4.5 test, 21,0'81bs fat. This season: 370' c,owS, 4331bs milk, 4.5 test, 19.901bs fat. Highest herd ■of 27 cows averaged 29,331bs fa.t; highest cow 481bs, fat,, lowest cow 31bs fat. Average for 68,611 cows tested in March, 4101bs milk, 4.9 test, and 20.19 lbs fat last season: 58,851 cows tested in March 4171bs milk, 4.8 tejst, 20.06 lbs fat. The highest monthly group average was that of Tairua, which was seepind last month, with 28.991b5i fat. The highest herd average was that of Otorohanga, with 37.131bs of fat, Tairua coming third with 35-84 lbs fat. The highest individual cow was in tlie Manawaru district, with 711bs fat. Again th e Hauraki - Coromandel Peninsula shows up well. In the highest monthly group avqrbge for Marc'h Tairua takes first place, a,s against 2nd for February and Ist for January. Mercury Bay and Coromandel headed the highest herd average for January and February respectively, but gave Iway to an outsider, Otorohanga, in March, with Tairua third.
