Public Notices. t6~tSFelectors of the PAEROA RIDING OHINEMURI COUNTY. AS I have been asked by a large number of ratepayers to contest the seat on the Ohinemuri County Council tor Paeroa Riding, vacated by Mi -f • Hubbard, I have after due thought decided to accede to their wishes. While wishing to have visited every elector personally, the time has been short, and it is unfortunately impossible for me to do so. Should I be elected, it will be my plea-' sure to interview settlers in the riding with a view to ascertaining their needs, and as far as possible seeing them carried out. Being both an engineer and a farmer , and having previously been connected with local bodies, I feel that through this experience, together with other knowledge of questions intimately connected with ratepayers interests, my services will be of great use to the inhabitants of the Riding and County. JAMES T. BROWN.
