PAEROA LADIES’ CLUB. At the meeting, of the management committee and selectptr?. of thq Paeroa Ladies’ Hockey Club held on Wednesday it was decided to affiliate .with, the Piako Hockey Asr sociatiotti. For this competition a shield has been thq trophy for the winners, but this year - the runnersup will be recognised, a? the Morrinsville men’s team 'has donated, a cup to be known as the Herrqis Memorial Cup for the team gaining second place.
The opening day for the season was postponed until May 4, thq following teams being .chosen for practice matc.hes to at 1.45 p.m. tomorrow at the Domain :—
