AURORA THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. A NIGHT OF MYSTERY. An excellent programme is to be screened this evening, headed by “ A Night of Mystery,” featuring that well-known and popular actor, Adolyhe Mqnjou, supported by Evelyn Brent. SATURDAY NIGHT. THE BIG CITY. “ The Big City ” is a vivid drama of city life in New York, and shows Lon Chaney in the role of a detecttivc v,airing against a gang of selves. Marccline Day plays the leading feminine role —a shopgirl innocently enmeshed in an underworld plot and Janies Murray is seen as a young gangster who reforms. THE LITTLE SNOB. “ Tlie Little Snob ” tells thp eternal story of the/ barrier, which selfsacrificing parents are apt to build between their ehil Iren and them selves by giving them “smart” education. It. is a human, rough, tender, and funny story. PICTURES Al’ NETHERTON. LOCAL FILM TO BE SCREENED. By special request the Hauraki Flax Growers and Hemp Producers Ltd. has arranged to screen the films which werq exhibited in Paeroa last week for the benefit of the Netherton people, and the screening will ta.;c place in the Netlierton Hall next Saturday , night. Since thq picture was shown in. Paeroa it has been taken to Wellington for the approval of the censor, ar.<l was also exhibited: to the Cabinet Ministers. Great interest is being taken in thet district in the proposals put forth by the company, and to-morrow night t<ie Netlierton people will have the opportunity of wJtnpssinjg films taken in their own locality and. developed i n PaeroaTURUA PICTURES. THE 13TH HOUR. “The 13th Hear, ” tpi be screened to-morrow night, is a mystery drama of intense interest with a strong supporting cast, including the canine Napoleon. The story gives a glimpse into the ceaseless warfare of the police force, with dangerous cri.min'als in tiie dark'hours after midnight. COME TO MY HOUSE. On Tuesday next will be scee;iir.ed “ Come to My House.” This is the story of a girl’s battle against convention, and is a modern study of a single indiscretion and its tragic consequences.
