Public Notices. COUNTY OF HAURAKI PLAINS NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of theHauraki Plains County Council held on the 14th day of March, 1929, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held on the 11th day of April, 1929, at 11 a.m. at the County Chambers at Ngatea. RESOLUTION. In exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 6 of The Water Supply Act, 1908, the Hauraki Plains County Council resolves by way of Special Order as follows r 1. That the Waitakaruru Water Supply District, constituted by Special Order of the Hauraki Plains County Council at a Special Meeting held on the 20th day of August, 1928, is hereby curtailed by the exclusion of Sections 37 to 53 (both inclusive) from the said District. 2. The description of the Waitakaruru Water Supply District as curtailed shall be as follows : Commencing at a point on the Waitakaruru-Pipiroa Road where it intersects the Wai: takaruru - Maukoro Canal; thence southwards along the right bank of the said Canal to the boundary of Section 31, Block IV., Piako, thence in an easterly direction to the northeastern corner of Section 33, thence in a southerly direction to the south-eastern comer of Section 35, thence westward along the southern boundaries of Sections 35 and 36 to the said Waitakaruru - Maukoro Canal, thence across the said Canal to its left bank and following its left bank to the southern boundary of Section 30, thence in a westerly direction along the southern boundary of Section 30, thence northward along the western boundaries of Sections 30, 29, 28, 27, 26, 25, 24, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, and 10; thence in an easterly direction along the Waitakaruru-Pipiroa Road to the point of commencement. PURSUANT to Section 168 of “The Counties Act, 1920,’ Notice is hereby given that the Hauraki Plains County Council, in compliance with a petition presented to it, proposes by Special Order to declare so much of the County as is described in the Schedule hereto to be a District for the purpose of the construction of drainage works therein. A plan of the proposed district is deposited at the Waitakaruru Post Office and at the County Council Chambers, Ngatea, and may be there inspected without fee at all reasonable hours up to and inclusive of the thirtieth day of April, 1929. SCHEDULE. All that land in the Auckland Land District, Hauraki Plains County bounded, commencing at a point on the Firth of Thames midway in the mouth of the Waitakaruru Stream ; thence generally in a south-westerly direction by the west bank of the said stream to its intersection with the Waitakaruru-Pokeno Road, thence continuing in a southwesterly direction by the centre of the said road to a point in line with the western boundary of Ngarewha block (6577) ; thence ■ in a north-westerly direction by a right line to and along the western boundaries of Ngarewha block, Waitakaruru Blocks numbers ID, sections 1 and 2, 20 ; Sections 6,5, and 3, 48, 3a, 3b, 3c; No. 2,3 c; No. 1,4 a; thence north-easterly along the northern boundary of Waitakaruru 4a, block and by a right line to the Firth of Thames; thence in an easterly direction by the Firth of Thames to the point of commencement.
