RIFLE SHOOTING.
SATURDAY'S I’MCTICB. A practice shot at the 200 and 700 yards ranges was held .on the local 'ang.e on Saturday by of the Paeroa Rifle Club, to enable these atte.nding the South Auckland Rifle Association’s annual meeting at Waihi during Easter to have the benefit of the practice at thqse ranges. Shooting at the 20’0 yards range was good, but the weather became; very dull and ga.ve a bad light for the shooting at the longer range. Following are the results ; F. C. Hubbard, 34 at 200yds, 28 at 700yds, total 62; R. I. Roberts, 31 and 27, 58 ; P. R. Hubbard, 31 and. 23, 57 ; R. I. Wells, 29 and. 27, 56 ; A- A. Jenkinson, 34 and 20, 54 ; W. A. Reid, 2.9 a.ml 24. 53; B. Roberts, 27 ajid Id. 4'l.
