RIFLE SHOOTING.
THE I’AEROA CLUB. COMPETITION CONTINUED. On Saturday * the Paeroa Defence Rifle Club advanced the Club Handicap Aggregate competition a further stage by fining the first shoot of the third and final series. Shooting was carried’out froin the 30 and 500 yaj.dS! ranges. Three more shoots will complete the competition. Thq top s.cetre, 66, was obtained by P. R. Hubbard, and A. A. Jenkinson was second with 63. Following are the details
There will be no shooting on Saturday next. Ou Saturday, the 23rd, shooting will be from the 200 yards and 700 yards rang.es, to enable those members intending to compete in the South Auckland Rifle Association’s meeting, at Waihi at Easter to have a practice at these ranges.
