Chappell), ;was also in SANITATION, The secretary, ■ Education Board), Auckland, advised; that the architect had been instructed to report on the application for improvements jto the sanitary arrangements at the school. Ihe chairtmani reported havKng interview the architect, while in Auckland. Several objections to the installation, of a septic tajtk had been raised,, but it a ppeared that the basis, of the objection was the cost. An estimate was b-eijig prejpared. ADDITIONAL LAND. The secretary, Education , Board, Auckland, advised that the committee’s application f6r the land adjoining the school and used for t;hie sports on Friday last had been referred to the Lands Department, which hadi replied that the matter was rec civtng consideration. ;A final decision would be communicated in due course , and the committee duly advised oi? the decision. ACCOUNTS. Accounts totalling £6 17s 3d: were passed for payment. THE PICNIC. I’he tournament prizes wierc wop by Mrs J. A. G. Will sop and Mr C. C'.illan<le;r, with the consolation prizes going to Mrs Faw /c.ett and Mr S. Collinson.
