At. a meeting of the HUstoW Drainage Board on Saturday the engineer, Mr >V- R- Johnson, reported that thei drain along the Paero ; a-Tahuna road' was showing very sandy in places, and although the sub-strata proved ideal] for land drainage purposes, troubK* was to be expected later from scour.
