Carr 8. FRASER STARS. A challenge from the Hikutaia Club was accepted by the holders, a Paeroa pairs tqam, on Saturday. After a keen game the Hikutaia team wop by two points. MONDAY NIGHT’S PLAY. Another most interesting, and, entertaining event took place at the Paeroa bowling green on Monday night, when a threes competition was held. Play was. keen, close, and full of incident. Apart from the attractiveness and gaiety, added to the scene by the ladies taking part, the splendid way in which some of them are becoming adepts at the game gives ctne food for thought should they feel inclined to issue a challenge to any neighbouring team of ladies.

The winners of the competition were Mrs Wells, Mrs Hale, and Hutchinson, with tty points, followed by Mrs Hampton, Maxwell, Day, 4 points; Miss Morland, Miss Finnic, Walmsley, 4 ; Miss G. .Grant, Mrs Masters, Pye, 3% ; Mrs Dale, Mrs S.
