HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report; — At the Frankton stock sale on Tuesday last, .we had a heavy entry of. cattle, beef shewing a further decline in pric.ep, while fat sheep were practically on a par with previous sales. A heavy yarding of young cattle came forward, the majea-ty faiing to reach the reserve and'were passed in.

Store Sheep.—Probably the largest yarding that has come forward for some considerabe time, but did not meet with the same competition as previous sales. Lambs ajid breeding ewes Were effected most. Pigs.—A heavy yarding of baconers and porkers were firm and ip good demand at late rates. Market quiet for store pigs, and weaners. We quote:—

Light fat steers £l2; heavy fat cows £9 to £lO 17s 6'dl; medium fat ows £7 10s to £8 ss; lighter £6 to £7 2s 6d ; forward; conditioned epws £'! l'ss to £5 10s; store e</ws £3 5s to £4 5s ; Jersey heifey calves £3 10's to ,£4.

Sheep.—Fat wethers 33s to 34s 6d ; fat ewes 19s 6d to 22s 9d ; fat lambs 25s to 28s 6d; forward cowditiohed 4-tooth wethers 29s to 31s ; forward conditioned 2too'th wethers 27s to 28s 6d ; 2-toath , ewes 25s 6 ; S.M'. breeding ewes 22s to 3-lSj; F.M. breeding ewe? 13s 3d to,l7slod; good woolly •M.S. lambs 22s 4<l; shorn lambs 18s 3d to 19s ; shorn wether lambs 17s to 17s 3d ; cull lambs 12s to 14s 10d.
