LARGE INCREASE THIS SEASON.
The following are the production and payment statistics for the Te Aroha Dairy Co. for the season to date, giving last season’s; corresponding figures ill parentheses. The comparison is of great interest, showing very substantial increases all round.
Butter-fat for January, 349,7801 b (230,8301 b ; incr.ease, 52 per cent. Butter-fat for eight months, season to date, 1.848,0881 b (1,327,6081 b ; increase, 39 per cent. Rate advanced (net. cash farm gate), Is 5d (Is 2d)Total payment for January, £24,749 (£13,417) ; increase, 85 per cejnt. Total payment for season to January 31, £131,355 (£86,258) ; increase, 52 per cent.
The amount of fat supplied and butter made up to the end of January approximately equals the company’s production for t.hq whole of last season, and there are four months yet to come this, season, from February 1 to May 31.
