— NIGHT PLAY COMPETITION. A very pleasant evening was spent by all the participants in the mixed games on Wednesday. Evening bowls has become very popular again, a s was manifest by the large number of players taking part -54—and the presence of spectators watching the play from the banks. Several, very keen games were contested, and by the acclamations voiced and remarks Passed everyone enjoyed the evening’s sport thoroughly. Tresidder’s team won the; honours.
