Miss E. C. Silc.ock, and Miss D. M. Towers, of Paerop,, have been appointed probation teachers at the Paeroa District High School.,
The engagement is announced of Evelyn, elder .daughter of Mr and Mrs tV. J. McDonald, of Kaupokanui, Taranaki, to Kenneth James, eldest son of Mr and Mrs T. F. Fulton, of Paqroa.
