Sir Thomas Clement, of Messrs Andrew Clejment and Son, the British produce-dealing firm, visited Turua on Friday afternoon to confer with the directors of the Hauraki Plains Cooperative Dairy Co., Ltd.

Dr. W. Johnston, of Wellington, passed th ougli Paeroa on Saturday with Mrs Johns,ton and family, and is spending a few days with Mr and Mrs A. F. Steedman at Puru, Thames Coast.

Mr D. Brown, who .was for some, years manager of the Farmers’ Trading Co. at Netherton and later at Paeroa, is on a visit to New Zealand from Raratonga Islands, and is expected in Paeroa towarils the end of the week.
