To serve cold fqfod in the coolest possible manner get your, tinsmith to make; vessels the exact size of your serving dishes. Pour about half an inch of cold water into these vessels and place in the ice-chest for about half an hour. To turn out just dip t the vessel into warm water, tjien turn out on to- serving plate. Daintily arrange food on the ice and bring to the table as quickly as possible. Ice may be prepared in the same way for each individual’s elate, but this is not so necessary. Prepare the butter for the day first thing in the morning and place; the bajlg in a basin of cold water.
