POLICE COURT.

AN OLD OFFENDER CHARGED. ONE MONTH IN GAOL IMPOSED. At the Paeroa Police Court this morning, before Messrs, W- Forrest and W. F. Johnstone, j’s.P., an old offender named 1 Patrick Fitzgerald, alias O’Neill, was charged with drunkenness —his third offence within six months. He was also charged with exposing, his person in Puke Road, and with being an idle and disorderly person. On the first charge he was convicted and discharged. On the second charge Fitzgerald ,was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment in Mt. Eden Gaol, and on the third he was com victed and) discharged.

The police drew the Justices’ attention to the state of the prisoner, and they ordered that he receive medical attention an arrival at Auckland.
