NOTICE is hereby given that written tenders will be received at this Office until 4 o’clock p.m. on Wednesday, the 23rd January, 1929, for tenancy as below of the undermentioned land under the provisions of Section 147 of the Land Act, 1924, subject to the conditions as set forth here: — Section 46, Block 1., Waihou S.D. Area: 122 a lr 27p. Term of Lease : 5 years. Minimum rent, £25 per annum. Special Conditions. The successful tenderer will require to deposit the sum. of £2O as guarantee that the conditions of tenancy will be fulfilled regarding -fencing and prevention of damage to drains. GENERAL CONDITIONS. 1. Tenancy to be for grazing purposes only and subject to resumption on three months’ notice in the event of the land being required for other purposes. 2. No compensation to be claimed or allowed either on account of the termination of the tenancy, or for any improvements effected on the land; but the tenant would be allowed to remove any temporary fencing or buildings placed on the land during his tenancy. 3. The tenant shall prevent the growth and spread of all noxious weeds on the land and shall with all reasonable despatch remove or cause to be removed all noxious weeds or plants as may be directed by the said Commissioner of Crown Lands. 4. The tenant shall securely ringfence the section to the satisfaction of the Chief Drainage Engineer prior to placing stock thereon. 5. The tenant shall not sublet, transfer, or otherwise dispose of any interest in tthe land without the written authority of the said Commissioner. 6. The tenant shall discharge all rates, taxes, charges, and other assessments that may become due and payable, and shall lodge with the Receiver of Land Revenue, Auckland, the deposit as shown above as security against damage to drains during the currency of the tenancy. 7. Rental payments in arrears for two calendar months shall render the tenancy liable to termination ; or a breach of the conditions expressed or im- ■ plied shall entitle the Crown to re-enter and determine the tenancy. 8. The highest or any tender not necessarily accepted. A plan of the section may be seen at the Waitakaruru and Ngatea Post Offices, and at the Lands and Survey Office, Auckland. K. M.
