BRENAN SHIELD GAMES. SATURDAY’S PLAY. Further games in the Brenan Shield contest were decided on Saturday. The game between Barclay, Pye, ■Morland, Marsh, and W. Smith, Bassett, de Castro, Towers, which w&s Partly played, on the previous Saturday but had to be abandoned owing to rain, was continued, Marsh’s team being the winners. Other games were: W. Smith, Bassett, de Castro, Towers 25, v. Lowden, Carter, Lowry, G. H. Taylor. 23 ; Barclay, Pye, Morland, Marsh 28, v. Hutchinson, Master?, Hamilton, Chamberlain 18 ; Taylor, Walmsley, P. Williams, Brocket 29, v. Power, H. Smith, Edwards, Hale 14.
