The Christmas Number of the “New Zealand Sporting and Dramatic, Review” is incorporated' with the usual weekly, making a very attractive combination and one that is sure tq prove extremely popular. The coloured supplement is really* appropriate for the season of the year, and depicts a gorgeous beach scene, wonderfully coloured, entitled “On the Beac.h at Lido, Venice.” The centre Pages of the Christmas section display a series of piquant poses of pretty girls, and some unique effects have been obtained* The frontispiece is typical of the spirit of Christmas, and another pretty page is entitled “Christmas Cheer j n cinemaland.” Other pages are Animal Studies, Beac,h Belles, Maori Girlsj at Work, Kai Time, studies of the Kauri Forest, Seascapes, picturesque scenes on the hunting, field, all replete with interest and charm.
