LAST EVENING’S RESULTS* Although the night was somewhat chilly, it did not deter some of the more ardent players frqm having a game last evening. Only six lady players ventured to play, however. The scores were as follows:—
Mrs Say and Bassett 17, v. JFs Finnic and Rye 12; Miss Morland and Finnie 18, v. Miss Say and Hale 8: Mrs Hale and Morland 18, v. Mrs Silcock and Pascpe 15; Grant, Riddle, and Jupp 20, v. Schroff, Follis, and Tr.esidder 9.
The next meeting of the Paeroa Borough Council will be held on JaiHi J ary 17, 1929.
